MAYUTAM TOWN 8/8

8 September 19xx Mayutam town is finally in its peaceful state, or at least according to John Sullivan's standard. He finally gets what he wants. It is to eliminate Margot and break apart her spiritual cult followers. His daughter's kidnapping has actually been planned previously between him and his daughter. That is why Margot saw them in the shed in the woods and through her vision. However, sadly civilians will never know the truth behind all this tragedy. Because the main victim of the incident no longer has her voice as she got lynched by being burned at stake, like the Salem witch trials. What a horrifying tragedy in the Mayutam town.

MAYUTAM TOWN 7/8

7 September 19xx Margot tries to tell the townspeople that she wants to show the evidence of the door and Lucy's presence in the shed. But everything is too late. When everyone in the town had agreed to follow Margot to the shed in the woods, there was no one inside. Instead, the shed looks old and fragile. It seems like it has been a long time since somebody visited the shed. This situation increases more anger inside the civilian. Moreover, those in Margot's spiritual cult no longer respect her as their leader. At the same time, news of Lucy inside Margot's house began to spread. Without permission from any authorities, including the mayor, the people in town decided to check Margot's house. There, they indeed find Lucy somehow in the attic. Margot is as skeptical as any other person in the town. That said, Margot realizes that she is now wholly doomed.

MAYUTAM TOWN 6/8

6 Sepetember 19xx Realizing her fate in front of her eyes, Margot decides to find the door she has seen lately in her vision. She believes that since she has nothing to lose, she should at least conclude what the mystery lays behind her vision. In search of the door, she looks everywhere in each corner of the town while playing hide and seek as the town's people are hunting for her. Finally, she found the door she had been looking for in a shed. Apparently, the particular shed is a private property that is hidden deep inside the woods. In vague, she hears two familiar sounds and two figures who have been the town's main character. Yes, it is John and his lost daughter, Lucy. They are discussing the plan regarding how to control and make Mayutam town become the ideal town from John's perspective. Seeing what was happening right in front of her eyes greatly shocked Margot. She ran as fast as she could, to tell the truth about what she saw and heard to the civilians. Nonethel...

MAYUTAM TOWN 5/8

5 September 19xx The mayor, John Sullivan, is a great politician with a high sense of rationalism and democracy. That is why he is creating propaganda against Margot. He hates her mainly for her witchery, which he considers full of nonsense. He tries to make Mayutam a town that is purely based on science. On the other hand, Margot is the polar opposite of his plan and his plan breaker, not to mention that she is the leader of some spiritual cult. As the rumors about Margot spread wildly, the town descends into madness while everyone turns on Margot, precisely as the mayor wants. The different information is fed to different people creating miscommunication and red herrings within the town. Not long after that, the ‘witch hunt’ for Lucy's kidnapper begins with Margot as the primary target suspect.

MAYUTAM TOWN 4/8

4 September 19xx Several days have gone by since Lucy was kidnapped. The townspeople have been searching everywhere, but still, there is no satisfying result. The mayor himself, Mr. John Sullivan, looks very frustrated and sorrowful. With no progress, the town started to accuse and blame others for that terrible incident. They put suspicion on one another as if everyone in the city were the suspect. On the other hand, the mayor himself had paid attention to her quietly because he discerned that Margot does have some connection regarding his daughter's case. With that being said, John convinces the town civilians that the evil mind behind Lucy's incident is Margot. To support his argument, John has brought up Margot's terrible past, as she conned people with wrong tarot/astrology readings in another town outside Mayutam. In the past, she had just misunderstood her readings, which led to someone's suicide. Hence, it is one of the main reasons Margot prefers to live far fr...

MAYUTAM TOWN 3/8

3 September 19xx The incident spreads quickly throughout the town; everyone, including Mad Maggie, feels sorrow and emptiness. Lucy is a great person who is not hesitant to help anyone who needs help, including Margot herself. However, there is this one thing that Margot did not mention to anyone. Several days before the incident, Margot does her regular tarot readings and discovers that something vast and terrible might happen to someone in the town. Yet, she fears what this could lead to. Her regret keeps getting more prominent once she finds out about Lucy's tragedy. After that night, Margot keeps seeing this vision in her head about her walking towards a door in the woods. The vision was clear but somewhat confusing as she did not recognize the place she saw and did not understand the reason behind her seeing it. Moreover, with people and herself starting to doubt her capabilities in card and future readings, she decides to dismiss it. Aside from that, everyone still respects h...

MAYUTAM TOWN 2/8

2 September 19xx In one night, the peaceful town has turned into chaotic hysteria. Broken shards of glass were found all over the floor of Lucy’s room, not to mention the scratch marks on the wall, someone’s splattered blood, and a torn piece of clothing believed to be hers. All believe that something terrible happened to her; now she is missing and nowhere to be found. However, people are wondering who could do such things to the town's flower, not to mention the mayor's daughter. Everyone believes that anyone who has done such an unbelievable act must be an awful person. The only clue left to find Lucy is the note the kidnapper left on the table, which creates more terror and lowers the town's expectations regarding Lucy's life and safety. The letter says, "her future is no longer written in the stars." This confused everyone.

MAYUTAM TOWN 1/8

1 September 19xx The life of the people in Mayutam Town is as hustling as any other day. John Sullivan, the town mayor, has done a great job leading the town. The harmonious family and friendly neighborhood always greet the mayor's one and only beautiful daughter, Lucy, with a bright smile as she lives her day. The brunette girl with green eyes that everyone loves- everything is as perfect as can be. However, one thing has been on Mr. Sullivan's mind for a long time: Margot. People in town call her Mad Maggie. In her mid-40s, she lives on the outskirts and has a massive obsession with astrology and tarot reading. Hence, she is also the leader of the Spiritual Take, followed by half of the city's population. John, on the other hand, invariably thinks she is not the right fit for his town, and she makes Mayutam Town's atmosphere not as suitable as he wants it to be.
